It has been a very busy year for us - with eight London based one day events, and taken part in two Memorabilias at the Birmingham NEC. Fantom Films return to the Birmingham NEC with a mixture of guests - not only from Doctor Who, but from the Carry On films and Gerry Anderson!

 

THE COCKPIT THEATRE - 5th APRIL 2009

We celebrate the twentieth anniversary of 'The Curse of Fenric', as we bring together the show's cast and crew to reveal the behind the scenes story...

Fantom Films celebrate the work of Barry Letts and Terrance Dicks as we investigate what made their tenure on 'Doctor Who' a success. 'Who & Them' takes place at our new venue The Cockpit Theatre - near Marylebone, London on 8th March, 11am onwards.

 

Cyber Sixties examined the five black and white Cyberman stories; 'The Tenth Planet', 'The Moonbase', 'The Tomb of the Cybermen', 'The Wheel in Space' and 'The Invasion'. The event took place on October 26th at The Tabard Theatre, London.

 

The name Philip Hinchcliffe is synonymous with some of Doctor Who's all-time classic serials. During his three years as producer he oversaw such classics as 'Terror Of The Zygons', 'Pyramids Of Mars', 'The Seeds Of Doom' and the incomparable 'Talons Of Weng-Chiang' to name just a few.

Guests included Series Companion Mary Tamm, John Leeson and Anthony Read, with Rosalind Lloyd, Primi Townsend, David Warwick, Colin Mapson and Pennant Roberts from 'The Pirate Planet', with Susan Engel, June Hudson, Nigel Plaskitt, Paul Lavers, Frank Jarvis and Nigel Brackley.

 

Fantom Films celebrate the forty-fifth anniversary of Britain's best loved show with a whole host of classic series companions and new series faces including Anna Hope, Ruari Mears, Ayesha Antoine. Memorabilia took place at the Birmingham NEC on 22nd and 23rd November 2008.

 

Sci-fi & Steam' Family Fun Day took place on 1st November at Kidderminster Severn Valley Railway Station. The day included Autographs, Props, Q&As, Photo Opportunities, Stalls and Children's activities - with the stars and monsters of TV's Doctor Who. In attendance was Matthew Chambers and Paul Marc Davies.
